The subject matter of the PSC in the operation of railway passenger is an obligation, by which the supplier Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a.s. undertakes to provide the customer Slovak Republic railway transport (including replacement road) transport services in passenger transport at specified prices, which from the point of view of its business interests would not provide at all or not provide in the required extent and the obligation of the Slovak Republic to provide the supplier with the reimbursement of the loss for the services provided.
The PSC applies to all national and international passenger transport services operated by the Supplier by passenger trains with at least one stop on the territory of the Slovak Republic, including SC and EC trains.
