Set out on the trip towards your benefits

  • Click here and register by filling out the required data in the provided form,
  • Create the customer account ZSSK ID,
  • Fill in the correct and actual e-mail and phone number – we will use those to update you on the new benefits and to send you the verification SMS,
  • Do not forget to agree on receiving our marketing information and offers and let us inspire your future journeys and offers,
  • When registered, you get your ZSSK ID number, registration number and the ZSSK ID card that can be used as printout or saved in your smartphone, tablet or laptop,
  • If you also use some other discounts or zero-fare transportation, the proof of this is the original document for discount issued at one of our ticket-desks,
  • With 2D code, the card will ease your access to ZSSK ID at the ticket-desk or onboard the train,
  • For payment with the credit, it is requested to fill-in your actual mobile phone number to which the verification SMS for the payment will be sent (SMS is being sent for security reasons for the transactions realized with the credit payment).

Have you registered at a ticket-desk or customer centre?

  • For users of zero-fare transportation and for holders of KLASIK RAILPLUS, JUNIOR RAILPLUS, SENIOR RAILPLUS or MAXI KLASIK card, the customer account ZSSK ID was automatically created for you,
  • to make full use of ZSSK ID account via internet or mobile app it is necessary to activate the account in the internet browser (create login data – verify the
    e-mail address, phone number and define the password).

How to start using the payment with credit?

  1. Log into your ZSSK ID account using your e-mail or your login name and apply the password.
  2. Choose the item “ZSSK ID administration“ from the left-side menu.
  3. Set the actual phone number and verify it.
  4. Go to the section “Credit“ and increase the account credit with 10 – 500 €.
  5. Choose the payment mode and enter your agreement with the business terms.
  6. After successful payment, your credit will be increased by 5% of the credited sum – this is the bonus credit.

 

Which tickets can be paid with the credit?

All domestic and international tickets available at ZSSK (including the network or time-bound tickets, reservations, berth tickets, couchette tickets, bicycle tickets) with price up to 500 € when purchasing in e-shop, mobile app IDEME VLAKOM, in the customer centre or at the KVC ticket-desk.

The exception are the tickets for Integrovaný dopravný systém Bratislavského kraja (IDS BK) and tickets for the connection buses.

 

Bonus credit

Bonus credit can be used as a discount from the ticket price when purchasing the travel documents and products of ZSSK – by payment with credit.

  • up to 25 % from the travel documents price,
  • by electronic compensation for IC train delay up to 25 % + 25 % from the original price,
  • the gained credit cannot be withdrawn from the ZSSK ID credit account

 

Which tickets can be purchased from bonus credit?

  • tickets not paid by the credit,
  • selected international tickets with so called global price (e.g.: EUROPA EXPRES, IC Košice – Vienna etc.),
  • international berth and couchette tickets,
  • customer cards RAILPLUS,
  • network ticket MAXI KLASIK,
  • special packages – tickets with benefits or discounts from our partners (e.g.: Packing by Pendolino to Prague).

 

Bonus credit can be withdrawn by purchase of minimum one ticket with the minimum price of 1 € up to 25 % of its price (or up to 50 % from its price if you have, besides the bonus credit, also compensation credit from IC train delay) and by international tickets, this price can be limited only to a certain part of the price.

 

When will the ticket-return fee credited back to your account in form of bonus credit?

If you decide to return a ticket paid for by the credit.

Exception are the tickets that cannot be returned, which, according to Terms and Conditions of Carriage ZSSK are not returnable at all for reason on the side of the passenger (e.g. EUROPA REGIONAL WIEN TICKET purchased in e-shop).

 

Return and claims

In case you decide to cancel your ZSSK ID account, and you used the credit payment, your credited finances decreased by 5 % and without the bonus credit will be credited back to your account. Customer account ZSSK ID cannot be restored, you can only create and register a new one. Claims can be dealt with via this contact:

In the claim, please, share with us your name, surname, residential address, customer card number, number of ZSSK ID account and subject of the claim. Please, attach the travel documents that are the subject of your claim. The claim can be submitted at ZSSK ticket-desks.

 

In what cases can you claim compensation for IC train delay with crediting to ZSSK ID credit?

In case you purchased a domestic ticket for IC train as registered customer (by online purchase you filled in your registration number by transferring the data from ZSSK ID or manually, by purchase at ticket-desks you used your customer card or zero-fare transportation card).

If you purchased a ticket for other person, it is necessary to fill in the registration number of this passenger. To get the compensation, it is necessary that the payment with credit is activated so that the sum can be credited to your bonus credit. (if you purchased the ticket for other customer, this will have the bonus credited to his/her account.

If the payment with credit is not activated, you can activate it at ZSSK ticket-desk equipped with KVC or via internet by verifying your phone number which is in the registration of your ZSSK ID account and by transferring the initial credit.

 

How to proceed by compensation for IC train delay?

At the ZSSK webpage, you will log in to your customer account ZSSK ID. In the section “compensation” you enter the16-digit ticket number (IC train ticket), the compensation sum (according to the Terms and Conditions of Carriage for IC train) we add the subject sum to the bonus credit of your credit account ZSSK ID. Online compensation can be done latest within 10 days from the subject journey (you can file your claim also later, this must be, however, filed at one of the ZSSK ticket-desks or via post). We enable you to file the compensation claim already on the second working day after the subject journey.

If the situation occurs when the carriage, in which your seat, berth or couchette is situated, is not coupled, you will be informed by e-mail or per SMS (from your ZSSK ID account) about the replacement and the details of your new reservation will be announced to you this very effective way.

If you purchase our products in e-shop or mobile app., all your travel documents will be archived in your ZSSK ID for 6 months. If you use other sales channel, the purchase info will be archived in your ZSSK ID in form of an abstract.

ID – we go 100+5 %

With the customer account ZSSK ID you can make payments with the deposited credit. For each financial deposit into your ZSSK ID, you gain 5 % of the deposit sum from ZSSK – as the bonus credit. (Valid for deposits 10 – 500 €.)

Payment with credit is possible in e-shop, mobile app, but also at the customer centres or at the ticket-desks. To confirm the payments with the credit we apply the SMS verification or the user can set the permanent PIN code.

Bonus credit

  • use discount for ticket purchase up to 25%of its price,
  • you get bonus credit for ticket returns for tickets purchased with the credit in the sum of the ticket-return sanction and sum of the bonus discounts (with original conditions) used by the ticket purchase,
  • bonus credit will be credited to your ZSSK ID when in form of compensation for IC train delay – for the next ticket you can get discount up to 50 % of the price (25 % bonus credit and 25 % bonus credit for compensation).

ID – freedom without sanctions

If you need to return a ticket paid for with the credit via the customer account ZSSK ID, we will credit the price of this ticket (decreased by the sanction) back to your credit and we increase your bonus credit by the value of the sanction. You can use the bonus credit for your next purchase.

ID – add your registration number

When buying train tickets, add your registration number, which will ease claiming the compensation for IC train delay. The compensation sum will be credited back to your bonus credit of the customer account ZSSK ID. By the next purchase, you can use this sum up to 25% of the purchase value. In combination with the bonus credit, your overall discount by purchase can be up to 50% of the purchase value.

The ticket must be bound with the unique ZSSK ID registration number, which will be easily filled in in the purchase process and it is enough to fill it in only once.
