Information on the seats for passengers with reduced mobility

A disabled person and person with reduced mobility (PRM) is any person whose mobility when using transport is reduced because of any permanent or temporary physical impairment:

  • of the organs of sensory perception,
  • the locomotor system,
  • of a mental nature,
  • any other reason for disability, e.g. due to age, when requiring appropriate attention and adaptation of services.

The PRM does not need to possess or present any identification.

What seats are available?

We have set aside more easily accessible seats for PRMs, usually at the sides of the carriage. These are the so-called PRM seats, which are marked with a pictogram:

You can reserve some seats for PRMs, however, some seats cannot be reserved at all.

You can only purchase reservations for PRM seats on request as a person with a disability or reduced mobility until the train is sold out. For a detailed overview of PRM seats available on trains,  please, see our document (PDF, 101 kB). Once other “regular” seats are sold out, these seats are also sold to other customers. You can also buy them in the e-shop and in the Ideme vlakom mobile app. Seats marked with the disabled person pictogram have priority for disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility.
