• Passengers wishing to transport their motorcycles are asked to bring their own fixing straps to fasten their motorcycle.
• Fixing points on motorcycles are placed so as to ensure their safe fixing. Ideal fixing points are on the front fork and in the rear part on the carrier riser, resp. on the handle for passenger or on the luggage carrier (picture below). Motorcycles, three-wheelers and four-wheelers (even with roof cover) can be loaded only on the lower platform of the motorail wagon. Motorcycles are placed in a row with distance enabling to insert between them two wheel chocks. Basically the motorcycle is placed and secured on the central stand.
• For some types of motorcycles (Chopper) it is safer to position them on side stands. Motorcycles that are equipped only with side stand are placed on the motorail wagon so that the side stand is turned to the vehicle.  In this case it is necessary to fix motorcycle with additional rope on the reverse side to the stand (either on handrail or on sidewall eye). Fixing ropes (belts) are placed so to be upright to the longitudinal axis of the motorcycle. Passenger must secure the motorcycle by wheel chocks on both sides. Positioning and stabilization of the motorcycle has to be done according to the above mentioned rules. For even higher security the seat can be removed and the seat belt can be pulled over the frame of the motorcycle and the belt can be hanged from one rail for wheel chocks to another. The seat will be then put back again on the motorcycle.
• Motorcycles have to be protected against paint damages. Therefore the belts have to be laid under with suitable elastic materials. If motorcycle is equipped with front shield against wind, motorcycle must be turned in the direction of travel and fulfil other conditions of carriage. If the train goes through reversal lines, the shield must be removed. Motorcyclist must be protected by helmet until the motorcycle has stopped on the lower loading platform, resp. when leaving the vehicle. Carriage of motorcycle BMW C1 is not available due to overall height of 170 cm.

• The transport of four-wheelers and three-wheelers is available. The price is same as for a small car with height up to 160,9 cm. The loading process is similar to motorcycles – passengers are asked to bring their own fixing straps to fasten their vehicle.

• Vehicle insurance is not included in the motorail ticket price. Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a.s. does not offer insurance services. Please note that you will not have access to your car during the journey. By signing your order form you confirm that all data provided in the form are correct. Incorrect data may result in exclusion from transport or refusal to accept a complaint. Each vehicle must be accompanied by at least one adult person with a valid driving license, vehicle license number and an insurance card.
