The single tickets are valid from the moment of validation in the tariff zones and for the time indicated on the ticket. The single ticket for one journey needs to be validated in the stamping machine upon getting on the first car. The stamping machines are located:
- On the platform, in the convenient visible place on your way to the train,
- On the trains of the line Záhorská Ves – Zohor – Plavecké Podhradie, you can find the stamping machines right onboard.
With a validated ticket, you are free to change for the integrated lines of all included operators. On the track sections designated as partially integrated railway line, the ticket stamping machines are not installed. If your journey starts on a train, please purchase your ticket at the sale point of Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko prior to the journey. The ticket is, then, valid from the moment of the purchase and you do not need to validate it before boarding the car. The same procedure is available, if the stamping machine is out of order. If it is not possible to purchase the IDS BK ticket in the station, it can be purchased on the train from the train personnel. If travelling on S 8 Bratislava-Petržalka – Rusovce line, boarding in Rusovce station and travelling towards Bratislava-Petržalka, please validate your ticket by the engine driver.
