  • The price depends on the number of sold tickets – the sooner you buy your ticket, the better price we can offer,
  • he prices are convenient for both 1st and 2nd Class,
  • With EUROPA EXPRES (except Poland) the children of age 6-16 pay only 5€ for the 2nd Class ticket or 10 € for the 1st Class ticket (max 2 children 6-16 per 1 fully paying passenger)
  • The EUROPA EXPRES tickets can be purchased for the journeys to and from Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia and the Czech Republic.
  • Tickets can be purchased earliest 60 days prior to the journey and latest on the date of the train departure at the ticket desks equipped with KVC.
  • The offer EUROPA EXPRES between Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland and Poland  is available also in the e-shop ZSSK, the Terms and Conditions are slightly different compared to the Terms and Conditions of the E-shop ZSSK.
  • Ticket is valid for concrete train within two days (to arrive to final destination), while the journey has to be started on the first day of the validity of the ticket.
  • All tickets are one-way, however it is possible to purchase return tickets – from Slovakia as well as to Slovakia.
  • Number of tickets is limited, and tickets are in several price levels.
  • The offer is not valid for Nightjet trains and night trains operated in Austria.
  • The offer does not include reservation of a place (seat reservation/couchette/berth). Should you wish to reserve a place or if a reservation is compulsory, please purchase the reservation at KVC ticket desks of ZSSK.
  • For purchases you can use your ZSSK ID customer account and payment by credit.

EUROPA EXPRES tickets at ZSSK ticket desks equipped by KVC system (Complex passenger services):

  • Up to 15 days before the journey with a penalty of 10 %, minimum amount 5 €,
  • From 14 days before the journey up to 1 day before the first day of validity of the ticket with penalty of 50 %, minimum amount 5 €
  • Later refunds are not allowed
  • Return of ticket caused by the fault of carrier is realised without any penalty
  • Travel tickets purchased in the e-shop to Germany, Switzerland and Poland cannot be returned.
  • Tickets purchased online via ZSSK e-shop can be returned according to the Terms and conditions of the ZSSK ID customer account and e-shop and mobile app „IDeme vlakom“.
