What should I do in case there is not any sales point opened at station?

If there is not any possibility of purchasing a ticket at station, you can buy your ticket aboard the train without any surcharge. In such case, please look for our train personnel as soon as possible. There are exceptions:

• the Tatra Electric Railways and Cog Railway
• Žilina – Rajec line
• Rusovce – Bratislava-Petržalka line
• Zohor – Záhorská Ves line (except seasonal cyclotrain)
  
• Kúty – Skalica na Slovensku line

where the passengers are obliged to purchase a ticket before boarding a train and to validate it aboard the train. On the line Žilina – Rajec only the tickets for Integrated Transport of Žilina need to be validated. Travellers entitled for zero-fare transport on Tatra Electric Railways and Žilina – Rajec line do not need zero-fare tickets, only their customer cards. On the line Rusovce – Bratislava-Petržalka, if boarding in Rusovce station and travelling towards Bratislava-Petržalka, the single ZSSK and IDS BK tickets need to be validated by the engine driver.
