The passengers entitled to the zero-fare transportation in the trains of Tatra electric railways (TER) and Cog railway (CR) need to present the valid card for zero-fare transportation. Contrary to all the rest of ZSSK trains, on TER and CR trains, the passengers do not need to pick up the ticket for zero-fare transportation. On the track Poprad – Studený Potok – Tatranská Lomnica the passengers using the zero-fare transportation card, are required to also pick up the relevant ticket for zero-fare transportation. Children up to 6 years of age are not required to present the zero-fare card or any other document entitling them to travel for free. There are not formalities required in this case to allow the children under 6 years of age for the free travel. More information on zero-fare transportation
