• Children up to 5,99 years of age travel for free
• Children 6 – 15,99 years of age are entitled to the child-discount
• Youth 16 – 25,99 years of age is entitled to the discount. To prove the entitlement, an ID document must be presented (ID or Passport)
• Weekly ticket is valid for 7 days – until midnight of the day 7 (24:00)
• Monthly ticket is valid for 1 month (depends on the calendar length of the month, until midnight of the last day of the month 24:00)
• Unlimited number of journeys on the corresponding track during the validity period
• The relevant ID-number must be written on the ticket
• If boarding in Rusovce station (with no sales point available) and travelling towards Hungary or when boarding in Hungary towards Slovakia, it is possible to buy the international ticket from the GYSEV employee aboard the train. Payment is possible in cash in Hungarian forints or in euros with coins/banknotes of nominal value between 50 cents and 100 €. The amount returned back to the passenger is always in Hungarian forints. The 50 € banknotes can be used for payments over 20 € and a the 100 €banknotes for a payment over € 50

How to return the ticket

• The ticket may be returned before its validity starts – with the cancellation fee 10% (minimum 1 €)
