Tickets and Offers High Tatras SMS Ticket

Sending a SMS is the quickest way to get a ticket for a train in  High Tatras. Full fare is 2 € and the ticket is valid for 2 hours to any station on Tatra Electric Railways, Cog Railway or on the service Poprad Tatry – Studený Potok – Tatranská Lomnica.One day tickets are offered too.

This service is operated by Slovak mobile operators Orange Slovensko, Slovak Telekom, 02 Slovensko and SWAN Mobile – 4ka. A prepaid card is needed.

Reduced fare:

  • children from 6 to 15 years of age (who are not registered for zero-fare transport)
  • seniors over 70 years of age (who are not registered for zero-fare transport)
  • send a SMS (blank or with a letter according to the type of ticket you need) to the number 2233,
  • you will receive a ticket within 2 minutes,
  • you may purchase more tickets from same mobile phone,
  • forwarding SMS tickets to other mobile phone is not allowed,
  • when boarding a train you must have a SMS ticket already in your mobile phone.
