For just 15 € per year you can obtain the following benefits:

  • 25 % discount from regular domestic fare in the 2nd class carriages
  • discount also for EuroCity (EC) trains, to purchase the 1 € fee is needed,
  • discount also for the trains with compulsory reservation SuperCity (SC), it is necessary to purchase the special fee of 1 € for the 2nd class carriage, or 3 € for the 1st class carriage,
  • discounts on the InterCity (IC)trains according to the pricelist,
  • discounted single and time-ticketson Tatra Electric Railway and Cog Railway,
  • special offers by the contractors of ZSSK,
  • cheaper travel not only in Slovakia, but also abroad – you can get more information at the cash desk (setting up a card via mobile application or e-shop is not yet possible).


How to become the JUNIOR card holder

  • the request for issuance of JUNIOR card can be handed in ZSSK sales points equipped with KVC system (at bigger stations),
  • You just need to bring a valid ID document and the photograph sized 2 x 3 cm (Please provide a picture that is up-to-date, unused, professional, sharp and bright enough. A person has to be depicted from the front, without any headwear or background.)

The card is always valid just for 1 year from the date of issuance, maximum up to the day of your 26th birthday.  For example: a card issued on 15th August 2017 is valid up to 14th August 2018. If you, however, turn 26 on 10th June 2018, your JUNIOR will only be valid up to 9th June 2018.
