Operation Division is responsible for main (operational) processes of the company. On the basis of the plan of Business Division it provides for smooth and safe transport of passengers. To fulfil the timetable in a safe and high-quality manner it prepares the plan of management and running of passenger coaches and traction units, it plans the working schedules of train and locomotive crews. In order to enhance the level of passenger rail transport it defines the development strategy for rolling stock in the company conditions. Division is responsible for planning and preparation of the rolling stock for the operation. It continuously supervises the operation of passenger transport, and analyses its quality. It monitors the technical conditions of the rolling stock and provides for the necessary number of operational traction units and passenger coaches, maintenance and repairs of the rolling stock.
Operation Division is further divided into:
- Operation Inspection Section
- Section of Technical Support of Operation
- Section of Operation Management
- Section of Operation Services
The Transport Centres are the main points providing for passenger transport.
