Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of ZSSK is the statutory body of the company comprising five members. The General Assembly appoints the Chairman of the Board from among the Board members; the Chairman holds the post of the Director General at the same time. The Board is authorized to act on behalf of the company in all matters and represents the company vis-à-vis third parties, courts and other authorities. The Board manages the company activities and adopts decisions in all company matters, if not laid down otherwise by legislative provisions or assigned to the responsibility of other company bodies by the Statutes. Mr Milan Chúpek is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Director General of Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a.s.. The Vice-Chairmanship is held by Mr Pavol Gábor, the other members of the Board of Directors are Mr Igor Krško, Mr Ján Kováčik and Mr Michal Vereš.
