As of 1st January 2007 ZSSK has been offering an interesting product for its customers. All who decide to travel by ZSSK trains on their birthday may use the 1st class for the price of the 2nd class tickets, in all train categories. Seat reservations and couchettes have to be paid in their full price, so if you are making use of this possibility you have to buy a ticket for the 2nd class and a seat reservation for the 1st class. The passengers certify their birthday by their identification card when buying the tickets.
